जम्मू-कश्मीर में कुल 44 सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों (पीएसयू) में से 24 घाटे में चल रहे हैं, जबकि चार गैर-कार्यशील हैं। यह जानकारी केंद्र शासित प्रदेश सरकार ने मंगलवार को विधानसभा में दी।
विधायक जावेद रियाज के प्रश्न के लिखित उत्तर में उपमुख्यमंत्री Surinder Kumar Choudhary ने बताया कि प्रदेश में 10 लाभ कमाने वाले पीएसयू, 24 घाटे वाले पीएसयू, चार गैर-कार्यशील पीएसयू, दो वैधानिक निगम और एक निष्क्रिय (डॉर्मेंट) पीएसयू हैं।
लाभ में चल रहे उपक्रम
सरकार के अनुसार लाभ में चल रहे प्रमुख पीएसयू में Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited, Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited, Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation Limited, Jammu and Kashmir Women’s Development Corporation, J&K Bank Financial Services Limited, Jammu and Kashmir Police Housing Corporation, Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited, Ratle Hydroelectric Project Corporation Limited तथा Jammu and Kashmir Development Finance Corporation Limited शामिल हैं।
घाटे में चल रहे उपक्रम
घाटे वाले पीएसयू में Jammu and Kashmir Industries Limited, Jammu and Kashmir SC ST and BC Development Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation, Jammu and Kashmir Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, Jammu and Kashmir Handicrafts Sales and Export Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir State Power Transmission Company Limited, Srinagar Mass Rapid Transit Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir Agro Industries Development Corporation Limited सहित अन्य शामिल हैं।

गैर-कार्यशील पीएसयू में Overseas Employment Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir Road Development Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir Handloom and Handicrafts RMSO Limited, Tawi Scooters Limited, Himalayan Wool Combers Limited, Jammu and Kashmir IT Infrastructure Private Limited तथा International Trade Centre Jammu and Kashmir शामिल हैं।
निष्क्रिय पीएसयू के रूप में Jammu and Kashmir Asset Reconstruction Limited का उल्लेख किया गया।
उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि घाटे में चल रहे और बीमार पीएसयू को सुदृढ़ करने तथा पुनर्जीवित करने के उपायों पर संबंधित प्रशासनिक विभाग विचार कर रहे हैं, ताकि इनके संचालन और वित्तीय प्रदर्शन में सुधार लाया जा सके।
