The baby was born on October 25, 2025, at 1:20 PM, to a diabetic mother, and developed severe respiratory distress within the first half-hour of life.
Upon realizing the newborn’s critical condition, healthcare providers promptly admitted the infant to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for specialized care. Given the baby’s large-for-gestational-age status and immediate need for respiratory assistance, medical staff initiated advanced neonatal respiratory support right away.
The newborn remained under close observation for vital parameters such as respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and temperature. Medical teams monitored blood sugar levels and neurological activity diligently. Fortunately, within the next few days, the baby showed signs of improvement, allowing for a gradual reduction of respiratory support.
In the final 72 hours leading up to discharge, the baby maintained stable independent breathing and normal oxygenation levels.
